I really want to learn how to play Taylor Swift songs on my guitar. It's a 6 string, but I don't have a capo ): Almost all the songs by her need one! I don't have any money to by one, so could someone please help me with the problem? Also, I don't know how to play any other songs, so it has to be simple. Haha. Please and thank you (:

回复删除Um... you can't afford $8 for a CAPO? well, I've had to make one in a pinch and used a wooden dowel and a couple of strong rubber bands and it worked OK... it wasn't pretty.. but it worked.OH.. and the reason for the capo on so many of her songs is, the ORIGINAL used a capo... "While my guitar gently weaps" was WRITTEN BY THE BEATLES and made FAMOUS BY ERIC CLAPTON long before Taylor Swift picked it up. And most, if not all, Beatles songs USE A CAPO.
回复删除You can retune your guitar instead of using a capo. The fifth fret of one string should be the same as the next higher string, except for the G string to the B string which is on the fourth fret. If the song says capo 2 tune the guitar up two frets. You can youtube how to do this. Sorry I am so bad at explaining it!
