回复删除Okay, Taylor Swift won a VMA for "Best Female Video" and during her speech, Kanye West came up, took her microphone, and said: "Now, Taylor, I'm really happy for you and I'm going to let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time!". Then he gave her back the microphone and left. Then Taylor just stood there and said nothing. Then she was escorted off stage. But then later Beyonce won "Video of the Year" and let Taylor come back on stage and give another speech.
回复删除What Kanye did was violate one of the Cardinal Sins of HipHop/Rap laid down long ago by the founders like Kool Moe Dee, Big Daddy Kane, Grandmaster Flash, Shock G, Tupac, etc... "Never disrespect without provocation." Of course Kanye was still pooping in his Pampers when these dudes were building Rap from nothing. That's the problem, these artists today have no sense of what Rap was supposed to be. Rap used to mean something, it had a clearly defined message, and that message wasn't about bragging about your jewelry or how drunk you got in the club last night. Listen to Public Enemy's - Welcome to the Terrordome, Or Kool Moe Dee's - I Go To Work. Brothers were rhyming every other word, but more importantly conveying a message about social issues. Nowadays? These punks are lucky if they can rhyme the word at the end of each lyric, with the exception of Eminem who can actually flow. Taylor never did anything to disrespect Kanye, in fact, she said in a pre-show interview that she hoped he beat Eminem in their category. Then Kanye jumps onstage, uninvited and disses her like that, during her acceptance speech? Some of the biggest blood feuds in rap history have been started over LESS. Had anyone else tried that stunt.. they would have been ejected from the building and arrested. What if it had been Rhianna onstage accepting the award and Eminem had jumped onstage, jerked the mic out of her hands and said that Lady Gaga deserved the award? What would Kanye have to say about that? Would he say that it was alright and that Eminem didn't mean nothing by it? Not likely. Kanye would have had one of his hissy-fits. "Never disrespect without provocation." Rap was founded on the principle of respect. Kanye doesn't know the meaning of the word. But has the audacity to demand it from everyone ELSE?? 回复删除Well, basically during the VMA awards on MTV, Taylor Swift won Best Female Video award. As all award-winners do, they are to go up to the stage and speak about their feelings towards winning it. Halfway through Taylor's speech, Kanye West comes up from out of nowhere, snatches the microphone, and basically said "Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time" or something like that. Everyone started booing and everything. And thats why everyone is pissed at Kanye

While she was giving her speech, Kanye came up on stage and took the mic from her and said “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time.
