I am always sick of seeing reviews for Carrie Underwood being compared to Taylor Swift. They sound nothing alike. Taylor Swift can't sing, but Carrie can. Wouldn't a fairer comparison be Carrie Underwood to Martina McBride? And Taylor Swift to a singing toilet seat?

i don't understand why they are Carrie can actually sing Taylor cant sing at all. what i would like to see is a Carrie Martina duet of independence day.
回复删除I totally agree with you except I think Taylor's Ok. In a cute, child-like, mousy kind of way.Taylor should be compared to someone like Tiffany from the 80's lol!
回复删除They are both popular and sing the same style of music. She isn't compared to Martina McBride because Martina started more Country, and still is.
回复删除I only see that here on this site myself.And you're right there really isn't any comparison and a comparison to Martina would make more sense since she is basically a younger version of her.She out sings Taylor and her songs have a lot more of a variety to them. She doesn't sing about little boys breaking her wittle heart all the time like TS does.
回复删除Because They're the only good country singers in the world, except for Tara Oram. The rest is mainly about whiskey and pickup trucks. I'd say Carrie Underwood may be a more talented vocalist but Taylor is a better lyricist and I personally like her more. Martina may be talented but her music is ANNOYING. I expect to get 8 thumbs down for this but I'm just stating my opinion and the truth.
回复删除A singing toilet seat? LOL! I wanna see that. Carrie is compared to Taylor because Taylor is very popular right now. However you are correct, Taylor can't sing and Carrie can. Martina sounds a lot more like Carrie and that is where the comparisons should be made to.
