Will people lower their Taylor Swift ticket prices on the day of the concert?
I want to go to the Taylor Swift concert in Detroit on March 27th, 2009. On Ticketmaster it is currently sold out, and when I looked on Ebay, people are selling them for ridiculous prices! Do you think that on Ebay, people will lower their ticket prices for 2 tickets if they can't sell them the DAY OF the concert?

So should I go for the expensive tickets now, or wait till the day of the concert and try to get a better deal?

Thanks

  1. Go buy the tickets now at Stub DB. The price will spike up as the event nears. Source(s): http://stubdb.com/tickets

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters If it was me -Buy whatever tickets you can reasonably afford NOW. There are people who will pay ANY price for tickets to concerts, and as the concert dates get closer more people are going to be interested, and demand is going to increase. You run a really high risk of any type of good seats being gone, and there really are people who will pay a 200% mark up on nose-bleed section seats. If you want to take the risk, there are always ticket scalpers outside of the venues the day of the concert. Even though it's illegal in most states, they still do it, but you are going to pay for them. And just remember, if you buy off of E-Bay, you still have to order ahead of time to allow time for the tickets to be shipped to you.I recommend checking your local classified ads for your newspaper, and even the papers from surrounding cities. I tend to find the best prices there. I have never used Craigslist but you might find something on there.Good Luck!
